I’m Anupam, co-founder of Luplu - we’re building the next generation of movement products.I have always wanted to build a brand for the people more than companies, That’s why I got drawn towards the D2C market. I had started my career as a Project Manager at Default which was essentially a backend role.Much more involved in the product development compared to product market performance.I got the taste of what it could be like to have a front facing role at a company with my journey at GrowthX. They did a phenomenal job in giving us the experience of growing a brand that is made for the people, Even though it was a SaaS product (Tyke) but it still helped me deepen my love for the market.Then my time at WeSkill helped me see the dark side of running a startup and not having the right product-market-fit.The company ended up shutting down, that’s the worst case scenario that I got to experience firsthand. At my time in Blue Tokai as their Product Marketing Manager, I got to experience the scale of a high-performing D2C brand. I realised then that this is what I’d like to do for sometime now.Because if I don’t try now, then there might not be a later. So that’s all about me!
