My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and their family.Key Responsibilities:Psychological Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities.Therapeutic Interventions: Design and implement personalized therapy plans using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA), and Mindfulness-based strategies.Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs): Develop and collaborate with educators to create and monitor IEPs for children with special needs, ensuring that each child's academic and social development goals are met.Parent & Family Counseling: Provide counseling and guidance to parents and families, helping them understand their child's needs and equipping them with strategies to support their child’s growth and development.Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and intervention in cases of acute emotional distress or behavioral crises, working to stabilize the child and create a plan for ongoing care.Collaboration with Schools & Professionals: Work closely with schools, educators, and other professionals to create a supportive environment for the child, both at home and in educational settings.Workshops & Training: Conduct workshops and training sessions for parents, teachers, and caregivers on topics related to child psychology, mental health awareness, and strategies for supporting children with special needs.
