Incubated startup management: Supervising and monitoring the progress of incubated projects, guiding them and ensuring that they are in the right direction of progress .Play the role of Startup health analyst for Product development, business model generation, team building, legal compliance and financial management. Working closely with the startup founders to understand their mindset, their needs and steer them in the right direction.Non incubated startups: Mentoring Startups (Idea evaluation, technology refinement, connecting to domain experts, exposing to funding opportunities). Recommending startups for Startup India scheme (Govt. of India). Financial support to startups via schemes of Govt. of Gujarat in capacity of Nodal Institute. Evaluating student projects for Spark up Idea fund (Technology evaluation and funds need assessment and approval)Grooming Program: Expose the participants to new technology.Working closely with the Grooming batch in helping them refining their ideas, business plans, and incubation proposals. Fund Raising: Interact with Department of Science & Technology to procure funds. Interact with Govt. of Gujarat Departments to procure and disburse funds to startups.Interacting with various institutional investors, Angel investors and industry to raise funds for startups.Executive Duties: Share monthly progress with parent organization including project progress, monthly expenses, financial status and future activity plansExternal engagements: Speaker and Judge at various high profile entrepreneurship related events and institutes.

BRUNSWICK is a market leader in the marine, fitness and billiards equipment industry. I was part of the team that created new markets for marine-boats and engines division in South Asia. Our clientele included government of Bangladesh, India & Singapore. As part of services team, I led the efforts towards consolidating a network of Franchised Service Dealers.

Livegreen International was an organic produce importer and distributor in Singapore. Their vision was to import from small farmers who produce quality organic products and distribute the same in Singapore. I helped them with setting up, product pricing, packaging design, identifying vendors, and most importantly in creating a quality protocol to select the organic farm.

Globetech Group is a diversified group of Marine service and trading companies with offices in UK, Hong Kong, India and Dubai. Their trading division specializes in the trading of machinery, plants and commodities.I was part of the business management team that interfaced between clients and vendors to understand client requirements and identify and negotiate with vendors to fulfill these requirements. The clients mainly included Ship owners, Ship charterers, Ship management companies, and Ship brokers.

SuccessIT Solutions was born with a vision to create web based information portals in Education and Healthcare for the common man in India. We started as a team of four but soon recruited more designers and developers. I worked on product design but took the lead in identifying sources of revenue generation. After a couple of months, we decided to change our strategy from developing information portals to Web based ERP Solutions for Small and Medium Hospitals. I worked extensively on product design. Also managed the company’s finances to ensure smooth operations.

OMI Corporation owns and operates oil tankers. The company transports crude oil and refined petroleum products in the international shipping markets. I was part of the engineering team that ensured efficient operation of the ship board machinery including the engine and control room. I worked with many technology systems including hydraulics, sensor systems, computing processors, and mechanical equipment.I also discovered the world with every port stay from Turkey to Brazil, and from Canada to Algeria
