I started my career with Motorola in 1994 as a young software engineer and ended up as a program manager in its spin-off Freescale where I was responsible for engineering and software development functions. Life took a different course when I co-founded Mitraz Financial and started my entrepreneurial journey in 2010. That’s when I decided to pursue my CFA charter and finished all the exam levels by 2012.Growing up in a lower-middle-class family with scarcity and tight budgets, I had first-hand experience of what it means to have dreams and what it takes to achieve them. Mitraz was set up with the mission to help clients realize their aspirations through prudent financial planning and investment management. We were advising more than 500 clients on 500+ Cr assets when Mitraz became a 100% owned subsidiary of Scripbox Advisors Pvt Ltd. in 2021.An engineer by training, and entrepreneur by heart, I am passionate about building businesses that are fertile ground for innovation, and creativity and have the right governance principles, team culture, and individual development opportunities. My key interests include retirement planning which is not only about sufficient corpus but also enriched and fulfilling life in one's golden years. My other professional interests include being a trustee of Anaha Trust which is a charitable institution that supports projects related to healthcare, education, and the environment, and being part of company boards.I live by the values of lifelong learning, health is wealth, challenging myself, reaching one’s potential, and embracing change.
