The Polish Ocean Lines (POL) is a shipowner with over 50 years of experience in conventional and container shipping. After transformation in 1990s the activities of the company have been concentrated on shipping and shipchandler's services. The tonnage of the POL is at present operated by daughter company the POL-Levant Shipping Lines.The POL is a member of the BIMCO as well as a number of other domestic and international organizations and associations.I was sent to poland for training and to head the north india operations and set up office for revenue generation in entire north india and was instrumental in making it a force to reckon with , in a short span of 9 months generating revenues in excess of a 1 million us dollars.

Commissioned in the Executive branch of the Indian Navy. I was on board the PETYAS who were an integral part of IPKF OPS in Srilanka from the Eastern Fleet . Also was a part of the assistance the Indian Navy provided during the MALE COUP. I was the cadets Training Officer on board INS BETWA, where in cadets being trained on various aspects of becoming a full fledged officer and there on would be posted on various ships after the prelim training . I designed the various training programs in line with the Naval Headquarters and the commanding officer of the ship. I have undergone various courses in nuclear biological and chemical warfares/navigation/gunnery/submarines/logistics/signals and communication. I was posted on Board as a navigation officer on INS Amini during the President's review In 1989.
