(previously Style Globe), is an exclusive indigenously developed trend forecasting resource designed for Indian apparel and textile industry. The trend book (published biannually), projects most appropriate and commercially viable seasonal outlook to drive a brand's success in today's competitive environment. + Developed and published BREW-UP TREND forecast book for eight seasons with an average seasonal accuracy of 85-95 %. Was highly appreciated by industry and academic circles for its simplicity and clarity in language. Other Projects undertaken: + Have trained over 3000+ budding designers pan India by organizing "Trend Forecast Analysis and its Application in Range Development" workshops. + Launched my men's luxury Pret’ line “UBHO by Anup Kumar". The exclusive range was created for high end customers at Moscow & Kazakistan.+ In 2013, launched UBHO ready to wear mens and womens westernwear line for India. The collection was sold at leading online commerce such as Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal.+ Was consultant to V2 Intex for its design and strategic needs. V2 Intex is an export house based out of Mumbai which has a leading Scandinavian, European and US clients under its umbrella such as Zara, Denmize, Tiffosi, Seppala etc. The role was to provide them with seasonal concept direction and range designing as per the buyer’s brief. The collection was highly appreciated by their buyers.+ Worked on AW 10.11 menswear shirts design collection for FIFA (FIFA world cup organizer) through its Indian partner Amigo Sports.+ Designed seasonal collection for Italian clothing brand De Puta Madre (for its India launch collection) through its India representative “Mahajan Exports.”+ Designed seasonal collection for many Indian brands Pepp, I-Believe, Carbone etc.+ Was invited by SOFT-Pune as a resource person for jointly conducting workshops with the leading international fashion trend forecast companies like Promostyl (Paris) and Trend Council (New York).+ Was invited twice by SDC's (Society of Dyers and Colorist)to be on the judging panel of their Annual International Design Award to select one designer from India. Was one of the six founding members of the design team at Lee Cooper India in 2006. After just a few months, I had the opportunity to independently design and manage the topwear category, which included a complete collection of men's and women's topwear (Woven and Knitwear).
