Institutional consultant for the UNIDIR on space policy and security, currently contributing to the Space Security Lexicon project.

In conjunction with my role at BASIC, I am the clerk and point of contact for the APPG on Global Security and Non-proliferation. The purpose of the APPG is to exchange information and increase understanding of arms control, security and non-proliferation issues among British parliamentarians in particular, with the expectation that a more informed debate will have a positive impact on Britain's contribution to international disarmament and stability.

In my role as Assistant Researcher in the Verification and Monitoring team at VERTIC, I largely work on: nuclear disarmament verification; building in-house knowledge on space safety and security; and on applying my knowledge and expertise in systems theory and science and technology policy to broader CBRN issues. I also support VERTIC more widely with events, communication, social media and EDI and accessibility strategy.I work primarily on a 3-year project, funded by the Canadian Government, as a junior technical and policy expert on modelling the North Korean nuclear fuel cycle. This includes fuel cycle modelling, some OSINT, coding and scenario building work. Alongside this, I am the steer for any work to do with space safety and security at VERTIC, and have written for several publications and participated in events in this area. Looking forward, my portfolio of work will extend to nuclear disarmament verification work in the Iranian context, nuclear safeguards, and capacity building for nuclear disarmament verification, as well as continuing to build expertise within VERTIC on space safety and security.

Research Assistant in the Verification and Monitoring team. In my role at VERTIC, I work on fuel cycle modelling and analysis, some open source intelligence work, CBRN, space and general science policy (capacity building, knowledge management and transfer, systems theory etc.). I am also working on VERTIC's communication strategy. I am thrilled to be working with a fantastic team at an organisation that supports and encourages junior staff to be able to take initiative and take every opportunity.

Research Internship in the Verification and Monitoring team at VERTIC on DPRK (North Korean) Nuclear Fuel Cycle.

Amb. Bonnie Jenkins has expanded WCAPS into the UK and appointed me as director of the UK branch. WCAPS focuses on improving policy in the security and peace field by including minority voices championed by women of colour, allowing for more informed decision making. The UK branch of WCAPS will have its official launch event in Spring 2020. In the meanwhile, we will be connecting with institutions and electing a board, as well as an advisory council and organising committee.

Co-opted to the British Pugwash Executive Committee to steer the activities of the organisation.

I was lucky enough to be voted into the UKSEDS Executive Committee at the December 2018 EGM. The Executive Committee leads UKSEDS, creating and implementing our strategy and activities. We manage the staff, control the budget, and are legally responsible for the good-running of the charity as its charitable trustees. The Executive Committee are accountable to the other Trustees and to the Members.In representing the organisation, we are in contact with space organisations both in the UK and throughout the world.

Voluntary role:Diversity Officer for the new Early Careers Group at the Institute of Physics.

Tutoring in A level and GCSE sciences as well as providing advice for UCAS applications.

Voluntarily managing the new European branch of #GoBeyond - a group that documents the glass ceiling shattering and important work that Women in STEM are doing all over the world.

I was part of a team of students who came together to form a society for students who are interested in Journalism and Broadcasting. The idea is to provide students a chance to discuss ideas, publish work, gain experience through our alumni network and broaden the range of experiences available to students aspiring to pursue careers in media.

In my time at the IOSP, I was given a PhD student's report on their study of the granular flow of sand. My task as a lower 6th student was to reproduce his results given the report, and by studying it, and independently building the equipment required and obtaining information from the university textbooks, I was successful.This experience gave me the chance to truly have a taste for experimental physics at an arguably early stage in my "proper" education of Physics.

Working with C/D borderline students in Maths to bring them up to B/C or even A grade for their GCSEs.
