    In my role as Assistant Researcher in the Verification and Monitoring team at VERTIC, I largely work on: nuclear disarmament verification; building in-house knowledge on space safety and security; and on applying my knowledge and expertise in systems theory and science and technology policy to broader CBRN issues. I also support VERTIC more widely with events, communication, social media and EDI and accessibility strategy.I work primarily on a 3-year project, funded by the Canadian Government, as a junior technical and policy expert on modelling the North Korean nuclear fuel cycle. This includes fuel cycle modelling, some OSINT, coding and scenario building work. Alongside this, I am the steer for any work to do with space safety and security at VERTIC, and have written for several publications and participated in events in this area. Looking forward, my portfolio of work will extend to nuclear disarmament verification work in the Iranian context, nuclear safeguards, and capacity building for nuclear disarmament verification, as well as continuing to build expertise within VERTIC on space safety and security.
