Research focused on comprehensive overview of current actions, policy and planning gaps, governance issues and missing relevant data at city level.• Conducted study on innovative engagement and capacity building methods such as serious game based learning and citizen science for solving urban development problems.• Wrote a review paper on “Importance of Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventory in tackling the Challenges of Climate Change in Indian Cities”. Formulated policy recommendations for adoption of technology based on diverse stakeholder discussions and policy research and presented findings at Tasting India Symposium and Indo-Nordic Food Policy Workshop at NITI Aayog, Delhi. The project was completed in collaboration with Swedish Energy Agency.2. Conducted multi-policy analysis of road transport sector to identify synergies and trade off with current electric vehicle (EV) policy of India. Designed a framework for decision maker for EV policy planning at state and city level. The project was completed in collaboration with UNEP-DTU partnership.3. Provided consultancy on formulation of Gujarat State EV Policy focusing on subsidy number and long term implementationstrategy.4. Conducted meta-analysis of 286 papers on relation of green buildings and SDGs and prepared brief note on “Decarbonizing the building sector in Indian cities: assessment of policies and co-benefits”.5. Collected big data of energy, industry, urban and transport sector of India for future energy scenario development. Coauthored a report title “Status of Socio-Economic data at Country and State level for India”.6. Organized fourteen conferences and outreach events to disseminate key findings of UN-IPCC special reports and engage with stakeholders from industries, government authorities, think tanks and academic institutions.7. Organized various innovative sessions for college and school students sustainable style, climate change and food system and conducted sessions on mock UN Climate Change Negotiations.

Completed Masters in Urban & Regional Planning with specialization in environmental planning. Completed my thesis on "Development of Electric Vehicle Strategy for Ahmedabad". The main aim of the thesis was to develop an EV strategy for the context of Ahmedabad city from physical, economic and environmental perspective. The study has specially focused on intervention in public transport & intermediate public transport and developed various alternatives for charging infrastructure which were evaluated based on environmental & financial parameters. The thesis has the potential to act as an essential decision making tool for any urban local body.During my studies I have completed three studios such as 1. Area development planning for S.P Stadium ward of Ahmedabad. 2. Comprehensive development plan for Mehsana, Gujarat. The studio work was specially focused on development of Environment plan for Mehsana city covering major sectors such as landuse, transportation, waste management, agriculture, housing and industries.3. Metropolitan regional planning for Bangalore. This studio specially focused on challenges in current transportation and metropolitan governance system. Planned and organized a workshop attended by 125 participants while coordinating 30 volunteers and 5 professionals from EWB-India and Australia over 2 days in “All India EWB Workshop on Sustainable development and Project Management” at I.E.T D.A.V.V, 18-19 July 2014. Initiated five field projects out of which two were completed and three are in implementation phase. Projects are as follows:-- Padhaw Village Development Project in partnership with Mrityunjal organization, project started in December 2014, focus area water purification, sanitation, energy management , waste management, local awareness.- Khajrana School Girl's toilet project: Completed construction of Twin toilet for 150 girls of school, in March 2015.- Dhudiya Village School Development Project: Project planning, design and cost estimation completed, looking for CSR partner for project. - Ralamandal Village School Development Project Phase 2: E-Pathshala project under which E-lab is constructed for primary and middle section of school, project completed in April 2015.- EWB-India Knowledge Repository Project is under designing phase.
