Current- Designed and implemented multiple features in cloud services (Streaming, Connector Hub, Notification Service) using technologies/tools including ETCD, Kafka, Java, Drop-wizard framework, Swagger and Maven.- Added multiple features and implemented core functionalities in Connector Hub service that enabled the service to move PBs(petabytes) of data each month.- Designed and implemented migration task in Streaming service, that migrated user data between ETCD clusters handling live traffic. The migration task helped getting down latency by 40% for certain API calls.- Implemented billing updates for Streaming service that increased the profit by 5%.- Deployed and maintained multiple services using the CI/CD tools including Kuberenetes, Docker, Promethues and Grafana.- For business continuity plan, designed and implemented encryption/decryption of PII data processed by a feature of Notification service. The implementation included automated key rotation, which in turn reduced the operational load.- Lead the operational improvements effort that reduced the alarm noise by more than 50% and thus reducing the OPS load. Also, reduced the time to detect customer impacting incidents to few minutes.- Drove the core count reduction project, that reduced the CPU footprint of the service by ~35%.
