• Member of Intelligent Systems (OS and Bootloader) team in the R&D division of Chetak Technologies Limited, the EV arm of Bajaj Auto responsible for scripting all proprietary system software for its Chetak series of electric vehicles. • Created a customized Finite State Machine (FSM) library for handling the control flow of the bootloader upon receiving application/firmware upgrades. • Optimized the state machine-based control flow mechanism for copying sensitive data from the upgraded firmware version while also handling all possible power interruption/microcontroller reset scenarios. • Ensured rapid, secure launch of updated firmware within 200ms criticial deadline to optimize vehicle start time. • This framework is tailor-made for Renesas microcontrollers applicable to VCUs, BMS and Motor Control Units, while also being easily adaptable to other families of microcontrollers and for different flashing applications. • Furthermore automated the generation of executable code from XGML file format of yED flowchart diagrams to facilitate rapid software testing complying with European Union standards. • This project tackles a broad graph theoretic problem on Flowchart-to-Code generation which is especially useful for implementing testing plans provided by offshore collaborators without the need for human intervention.
