Piloted one of the first trials of the biological technique Optogenetics in order to discover novel neurological findings related to anxiety. Planned and executed behavioral and molecular laboratory experiments in a behavior systems neuroscience research lab with the goal of understanding the connection between serotonin and serotonin receptors in the brain and their link to the root cause of depression and the underlying mechanistic response to antidepressant treatment.

I work to facilitate the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University. As an RA I develop a sense of community among residents as members of the floor, residents of the hall, and active participants in the residence life system.
