- Part of the Knight Direct IT team, I developed and maintained one of the middle office flows in the Knight Direct automated trading system, including programming and debugging our various servers running on Linux boxes, as well as the databases that are needed for our system to function.- My team also provided support for both the London Operations team and the US Operations team.- I developed and maintained various client and support application tools that our traders, operations teams, and clients use to connect to Knight’s high-frequency, automated trading platform with ease.- As part of the Compliance IT department, I worked on reconciliation reports and data storage, using Oracle PL/SQL and front end JSP pages to help in the compliance team's work.- These reports helped the Compliance team ensure that the company was following the rules and regulations that are a part of the industry.

- Using Python, I developed a dynamic website which would show the changes on an entire router code base, and if those changes were tagged, would also display the users who had modified that particular function and file.- I developed a website to automate testing on a wireless network, and provide graphs based on user input of the results of this testing. The test results would be emailed out to the user once the tests were completed, without needing further input from the user once the tests were scheduled.- I developed a software that would could be placed within a router to encrypt packets based on specific encryption algorithms.

- I developed a testing website that automated the manual testing of networks currently performed by my group. The website removed the necessity of requiring access to the actual machine in order to run these tests.- I created the White Paper document for the release of a product.
