Associate 2 - Global Employee Onboarding
Current• Manage onboarding and thorough background investigation of new hires from across geo (APAC,NAM and EMEA).Onboarding Activities:• Responsible for all pre-boarding activities for candidates accepting the offer at StateStreet.• Ensure timely completion of all the tasks adhering to SLAs on Workday and Sterling applications.• Create and generate offer letter, contracts of employment and sending out employment offer packs.• Responsible for updating the HRIS to reflect on the new hire with their respective start dates, and alsosend out hire communication to the respective hiring managers• Any challenges or delays in the process of joining will be highlighted to management and hiringmanagers.• Acting as POC for hiring managers pertaining to IT system access using sail point task and to L&Dteam for induction set up process for new hires, while actively track and manage the progress of newhires.Background Investigation activities:• Work on new Background Investigation cases assigned on daily basis.• Perform initial critical checks such as International Credit check, Criminal, bankruptcy, Education,Employment using external vendor - Sterling talent solutions and understand if the candidate is eligibleto onboard• Liaise between candidates and sterling team to resolve the BI related issues and assist candidate tocomplete the BI process smoothly.• Perform EXE activity - case allocation to other team members using work tracker applications - TSF.• Perform peer audit for fellow specialist's completed cases and approve the same, also manage criticalbackground checks for allocated look-back cases (previous quarter completed cases) performed bypeers.• Prepare and publish daily status reports internally for the team to track the ongoing cases and toevaluate team's performance.Tools and Platforms used:1.
