Environmental Justice Australia is a leading public interest legal organisation. EJA lawyers and campaigners act on behalf of people and community organisations to safeguard health; to protect magnificent forests, rivers and wildlife; and to tackle climate change. As Digital Campaigner I worked with the communications director and the engagement team to build and grow EJA's supporter base through communication and digital strategies. My role included: - Curating and creating content to maintain EJA's social media presence on Twitter and Facebook. - Building digital campaigns to engage supporters to take action and keep pressure on various decision makers regarding EJA campaigns. Eg. Online petition, email action to politicians, make a submission to government. - Assisting in the development and creation of fundraising communications. - Supporter emails regarding EJA work, and running end to end process of EJA monthly newsletter. - Website maintenance, building webpages on Wordpress.
