I'm a Certified Career Counselor & Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in health promotion and public health, specializing in career transitions, burnout-prevention, anxiety and stress management, holistic wellbeing, and work-life balance; and am strongly committed to promoting the importance of the intersection between career development, mental health, and wellbeing. In 2020, I founded WellSort (formally Balanced Card Sorts), and subsequently developed the Work-Life Balance Assessment, the Student Wellness Card Sort, and the Career Values Card Sort. These are simple yet powerful digital and hands-on card-sort tools that help students and employees uncover, clarify, and communicate their wellbeing and work-life balance priorities, and take small steps toward building what they need to feel healthier and happier into their career and personal life (www.balancedcardsorts.com).
