As a senior multimedia systems engineer at NAVSEA/ Washington Navy Yard, Mr. Ogiste has co-managed 5 junior multi-media engineers on highly-visible video-conference and audio/visual projects. • At NAVSEA, under the direction of the OCIO, Mr. Ogiste has incorporated fully vetted CISCO platforms employing TMS- Telepresence Management Suite, CMS- Cisco Meeting Server, and VCS- Video Communication Server. He has merged legacy ISDN- Integrated Services Digital Network components with IP component topologies, thereby creating a hybrid to meet the client’s accreditation needs. In this functional role, Mr. Ogiste has used DoD IA guidance via STIGs- Security Technical Implementation Guides, thereby enhancing system security.• He has led numerous meetings with programming and audio-visual system designers, vendors and government clients, fine-tuning platform upgrade requirements. In his efforts towards hardware and software acquisition, he has collaborated with the Senior programmer and designer respectively, to identify the suitable tools to deliver outstanding service in support of the NAVSEA department’s mission. • For multiple user live streaming, he has managed V-Brick encoder/decoder technologies, mostly in an auditorium setting. • Performed extensive troubleshooting and fault isolation for simple to complex VTC- video teleconferencing and audio-visual problems ranging from digital projection systems, routing signals to display outputs to COMSEC- Communication security anomalies. • Administrative oversight of contractual metric deliveries to government lead and senior management bi-weekly and as needed. Mr. Ogiste assumed the technical lead in the asset management of new, in-operation and legacy systems for accountability in the multi-media shop. Instrumental at exercising soft skills, he became a key player in project initiation, planning, execution, and closure.

As a multimedia systems engineer in a sophisticated and demanding corporate environment, Mr. Ogiste administered highly sensitive audio/visual meetings at Millennium Challenge Corporation, a segment of the Department of State. The delivery of service was multi-faceted to include integrated audio using Shure wireless technology, Tesira Biamp systems, ClickShare presentation systems, Skype for Business, with CISCO SX80 video-teleconference and CISCO Web Ex meeting server. Mr. Ogiste coordinated closely with both three-tiered IT support and high-level clientele, delivering both consistent and successful results. A high rate of preventative maintenance was routinely performed to ensure optimum operation of the departments technology systems, due to the high visibility interacting with world leaders and dignitaries. • Winner of the TWD & Associates, Inc. “JJ Johnson Memorial Customer Service Award for 2016”.

Mr. Ogiste provided on-site and off-site design, installation and de-installation of video and audio systems that impacted the tactical and strategic outcome of the DoD NAVSEA client’s mission. • Following the September 16, 2013 incident at the NAVSEA headquarters, all audio-visual systems were required to be removed and re-installed at the support annex of the Coast Guard building at the south east DC marina (NAVSEA West). Mr. Ogiste’s leadership in the area of logistics management provided 100% accountability for the removal, transport, re-install and launch of NAVSEA 00I VTC system assets. Interim support of multi-media components using a CISCO topology continued the means for NAVSEA headquarters to execute its mission.

Within the Secret Service headquarters, Mr. Ogiste provided around the clock support in a contracting capacity, to field agents, special agents, uniformed division officers and special agents in charge. • As the portable radio shop manager at headquarters, Mr. Ogiste ensured portable radios, base stations, and software were kept up to date. Daily preventative and corrective maintenance consisted of replacing faulty hardware components, replace or repair solid state circuit boards, and maximizing the efficiency of the issuance process. • Periodic visits were made to the headquarters warehouse to organize and replenish stock.

As the lone multimedia technician at the Department of Homeland Security headquarters, Mr. Ogiste performed site surveys, COOP- continuity of operations multimedia support, and COMSEC maintenance for high-visible systems.• Led the effort to survey new installations for video-teleconferencing systems using DHS S&T- Science and Technology directorate standards • Provided remote site support at Mt. Weather and Ft. Detrick for VTC COMSEC systems ensuring consistent reliability.
