I am currently serving as an Inspector of Bangladesh Police and hold the position of Media, Public Relations, and Coordination Officer at the National Emergency Service (999). In this role, I manage media outreach by preparing and writing reports on the success stories of 999, which are shared with both print and electronic media outlets, as well as senior officers at Police Headquarters. My articles on 999's achievements are also featured on the verified 999 Facebook page and published in various newspapers and monthly magazines.In addition to media relations, I serve as a trainer for 999, providing training on 999 policies and jurisdiction to new staff members. I also visit police training schools across Bangladesh as a guest speaker, sharing insights about 999's work.Previously, I worked as a Police Advisor in two separate UN Peacekeeping Missions for a period of 3 years. During my time in these missions, I served in various capacities, including Community Policing Officer, Public Relations Officer, and Personnel Officer.In terms of education, I hold a Master's Degree in Human Rights Law from the Dhaka International University and have completed a 7-week online course in Disaster Preparedness from the University of Pittsburgh. My duty station was Bor UN team site, Jonglei state, South Sudan. In Bor there were 5 thousand IDPS under UN shelter. My first appointment was PoC site security officer. Our task was to provide security to the IDPS. We monitored & controlled movement of the IDPS and provide them security when they went outside of the PoC camp for firewood, farming or livelihood activities. We apprehended perpetrators, rioters, rapists, drug addicts & thieves IDPS and kept them in correction center

As a Community Policing Officer, one of my key responsibilities was visiting various Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in accordance with a set schedule. There were over 50 IDP camps located around the Kass Team Site. Our UN Community Policing Team organized sensitization workshops and training programs for the IDPs, covering topics such as health and hygiene, education, and security. Additionally, we conducted both vehicle patrols and foot patrols inside and outside the camps to build confidence and ensure safety within the community.
