Sudanese Researchers' Foundation (SRF) addresses the absence of dedicated Sudanese platforms focusing on capacity building, knowledge sharing and research dissemination in a blended continuous education model. In this context we provide a common platform for interaction between Sudanese learners and researchers to establish and drive the momentum of research and education in Sudan. SRF serves as a bridge to link Sudanese undergraduates & postgraduates with the expertise and competence of Sudanese researchers worldwide.We grew from less than 100 members in 2009 to 630,000+ members in all over the world.The problem and the solution lies within YOU! My prime role as the Head of Computing is to provide strong academic leadership for all computing provision and liaise directly with Ulster University and BTEC Pearson. As Head of Computing I led, managed and developed the department to ensure it achieves the highest possible standard of excellence in all its activities. As a Head of Department I exercised leadership, demonstrated vision, and empowered others in order to deliver the agreed departmental strategy within the Faculty. Hosted by Doha Film institute and organized by TED.I actively comtributed to one of the main actions during the Summit (Regional Lens action), to suggest some workable and applicable proposal that can facilitate the reional collaboration between TEDx organizers.I also participated and contributed to TED open translation project (OTP) 2 sessions to help linking TEDx with OTP.In addition to different discussions about the complications and challenges for TEDx organizers in the developing countries, particulary complicated regions/ communities.Finally, interviewed more than 60 TEDsters/TEDxers about "Positive Thinking".
