I currently hold a multifaceted financial role that encompasses a broad range of responsibilities. My tasks include managing accounting journal entries, ensuring monthly and annual closings, and preparing statutory accounts while maintaining accurate consolidated reports within specified timeframes. I oversee the creation of crucial financial documents such as the Monthly Trial Balance and General Ledger while conducting variance analysis and formulating annual budgets. I identify discrepancies between projected and actual results and implement necessary corrective measures.Another facet of my role involves maintaining the company's financial health by predicting and managing cash flows, efficiently arranging funds to prevent shortages, and overseeing payroll processing. Collaborating closely with the Tendering Team, I handled the financial aspects of tenders and project budgets. I diligently followed up on payments receivable from the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority. Furthermore, I managed sub-contractors, overseeing invoices, payment certificates, verification, and financial reconciliation. I also interfaced with banks to handle bank reconciliation, manage group company transactions, shipping documentation, and periodically review transactions, including revising lists of letters of credit and bank guarantees.

I conducted various audits, including statutory and tax audits, scrutinizing ledgers, purchases, and sales. Internal audits covered similar areas, ensuring robust internal control systems for functions like payroll and procurement. I also oversaw compliance with Accounting Standards for revenue recognition, finalized balance sheets, and profit and loss statements. Additionally, I managed bank reconciliations, reconciled with creditors, and handled payroll processing, including TDS certificates. Verifying PF and ESI contributions, preparing and filing associated returns, performing TDS checks, and managing tax returns were part of my responsibilities. This encompassed compiling Service Tax reconciliations, preparing associated returns, and calculating total income for filing Income Tax Returns.
