What was yesteryear's science fiction, is today's legal and regulatory issue - the rights of de-extinct animals (from Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park), the rights to space (from Nat Schachner's Space Lawyer), policies surrounding nuclear fusion and even cryptocurrencies and blockchain (from Neal Stephenson's Cryptonomicon). With that inspiration in mind and following my academic endeavours in the field of energy and environmental law at Queen Mary University of London, I am building Long Straw Carbon, and daydreaming about building an artificial star, which I shall name Prometheus.
