I have been working with technology since I was 9 and with startups since I was 17. My work, my risks and mistakes have taken me across seven countries.I'm currently a design engineer at Celestial Laboratories, a Canadian R&D group that focuses on building technologies pertinent to Martian habitation. In three years of my work, I have designed two critical subsystems, which helped Celestial Labs win two national awards.I have worked extensively with structural analyses of complex dynamic structures, design optimizations in highly constrained environments of weight, space and user operability, and redesigning of existing components based on novel constraints imposed by extraterrestrial habitation. I have led my team to pursue design goals over hundreds of product iterations, aided by both computational and theoretical design analyses.I'm highly interested in technology and the forces that enable it to be delivered to the hands of an everyday individual. I love learning about how products are made and how strategies are conceived, at both corporate and national levels, that enables the creativity in people.
