Perform stage 2A, stage 2B, and stage 4 data validations including the evaluation of organic and inorganic analytical methods. Examples include:Routine stage 2A and stage 4 validation of VOC, SVOC, NDMA, metals, perchlorate, anions, and general chemistry data from groundwater and soil samples for Superfund Sites.Stage 2A validation of groundwater data sets, including mercury, methyl mercury, pesticide, PCB, herbicide, dioxin, asbestos, acute toxicity, and general chemistry analyses of priority pollutant data for NPDES sampling.Routine stage 2A validation of water, soil vapor, and air data, including a variety of analytical methods for DTSC and Caltrans investigations.Stage 2B validation of groundwater investigation data sets, including anion, dioxin, dissolved gas, metals, TPH, explosives, herbicides, PAH, PCB, pesticides, PFAS, SVOC, and VOC analyses for ADEC investigations. Identifying and troubleshooting issues with laboratory reports and EDDs, coordinating with project teams and laboratories to resolve them.Assist in developing QAPP and SAP documentation.Develop methods to generate monthly sampling program statistics, such as tracking timeliness of laboratory deliverables, laboratory contamination issues, and frequency of duplicate and field blank sample collection to ensure compliance with the project QAPPs. Assist in managing databases for a variety of environmental sampling programs, including appending laboratory EDDs to project databases, generating automated validation outputs, and developing methods of ensuring completeness of data uploads on an ongoing basis. Assist in the laboratory procurement process, including ensuring that potential labs can meet project-specific capacity and quantitation limit requirements and evaluating the quality of laboratory deliverables. Trained new members of the validation and database management project teams, enabling them to become self-sufficient in a variety of ongoing project tasks.

Test new and updated user interfaces and reports, creating documentation to note the testing process and next steps. Track requested changes to database User Manual, implement changes, and facilitate approval of new versions for publication. Facilitate internal and external weekly project status meetings; communicate program announcements to the PM group and keep meeting minutes. Create and send weekly internal program status update emails.Generate and review documentation for monthly invoicing. Coordinate between departments to track and facilitate progress of program deliverables.
