Worked on designing a public health intervention to aid those suffering from type 2 diabetes. For our intervention plan, my group and I proposed a mobile app intervention for our target community that consisted of a rewards program with local farmers markets, a community chat feature for individuals in the type 2 diabetes community to virtually communicate despite transportation issues, and a nutrition hub for users to view various nutritions, ethnic recipes. Our presentation placed first at the Project Unity Regional Conference. I was also an honored recipient of the Public Health Trailblazer Award; this award recognizes exceptional dedication and leadership in the Catalyst Academy mentorship program and celebrates the recipient's commitment to public health, community initiatives, and their role in inspiring and uplifting peers.

Innovation Women’s mission is to provide equal visibility opportunities for women, supporting career development, business success, thought leadership and diversity. Since 2015, the organization has consistently grown and placed hundreds of women on stages across the world. Innovation Women has also helped hundreds of event managers successfully build diverse panels and events. The goals are to connect women with visibility opportunities and help them move forward in their business or careers.
