Bicycle Program Manager
CurrentProgram manager working to improve air quality, reduce traffic congestion, and improve quality of life by designing, organizing, and coordinating programs and developing creative marketing campaigns to increase bicycle ridership for constituents of all ages and abilities in a diverse community. Manage League Cycling Instructors and mechanics contract for community bike repair. Programs include Adult Learn-to-Ride, Earn-a-Bike, Bike Doc free bike repair, Electric Ride and Drive Expo, Navigate Natomas, Bike Swap event, Project Ride Smart (5th graders), Bike Tech high school CTE, middle school bike camp, May is Bike Month, and trail activation events. Establish partnerships with diverse audiences and stakeholders including other non-profits, government agencies, elected officials, neighborhood associations, and schools. Provide advocacy in local planning and development process as well as for wayfinding signage, bike share, bike parking, and fix-it stations. LCI#7040
