Developed a public health campaign centering around menstrual health and hygiene for girls and women aged 14-40 in Bauchi, Nigeria. Surveyed the population to create educational resources such as a community workshop, one-pager, and research posters. Winner of the Global Fundraising Award.

Worked in Process Development and quality control labs, learning the process of commercial drug manufacturing. Conducted SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), tangential flow filtration (TFF), chromatography column packing, cell viability analysis (with Vi-Cell), biosafety cabinet work, cell media + supplement preparation.Observed the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), limulus amoebocyte lysate assay, expansion of cell culture, transfer to bioreactor as well as the cell culture’s daily growth.
