Becoming a financial adviser fitted neatly into this. It combines building relationships and the feeling of being able to help people in a meaningful way with my analytical mind. I have taken a part-time roll working for LAPS with the aim of building on and creating relationships with sports National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and organisations. Through these relationships we want to increase the membership numbers of LAPS and help athletes with their careers outside of sport.

Having retired from international cricket in April 2022 I have started a new role with Southern Vipers. The role sees me combine playing with being responsible for the fast bowlers at Vipers. I oversee their winter and summer programmes, working on any technical and tactical aspects that need addressing. I work as part of a wider team involving the physios and strength and conditioning coach to make sure their entire programme is coordinated.

With the advent of the Kia Super League, a best v best domestic T20 competition, I represented Western Storm who cover the South West of England. I am proud to be vice-captain and delighted to have been part of the 2017 championship winning side

I've been fortunate to see the growth in the Women's game first hand, having been involved with England for nearly a decade. With professional contracts now in place and expanding we enjoy a wonderful environment in which to develop our skills and deliver the vision of the ECB; most recently with the dual playing and promoting success of the Women's World Cup 2017 where England became champions after a thrilling final at Lord's Cricket Ground.

I had the pleasure to travel to Australia and play for Perth Scorchers in the Women's Big Bash League 2016 / 2017 - ultimately ending up as a runner up.
