I am passionate about teaching. I had a calling to teach the piano and I listened! I have been teaching privately in the Greater Boston Area since 1982. In 2006 I created the website AnythingPiano.com to help promote the AnythingPiano Publications (piano pieces I wrote which were inspired by my students). I have held positions at the Brookline Music School (16 years), the Dana Hall Music School (1 year) and substituted for the four-hand piano classes at the Longy Music School for many years. The Living Composers: AnythingPiano Project's mission is to encourage the creation of repertoire for the piano in various combinations, to promote living composers through public performances and recordings of their works, and to increase audience enthusiasm and appreciation for new music through creative and varied programming.LCAPP is currently focusing on music for four hands at one piano.

Bonnie Anderson and Donna Gross Javel have been performing together as The Four-Hand Piano Duo to enthusiastic audiences throughout the New England area ever since their 2004 debut in Danvers, Massachusetts. They are often told that their enthusiasm and energy are contagious. In addition to the standard works of the classical repertoire, their programs often include music from the Living Composers: AnythingPiano Project (LCAPP).

Frequently serve as an adjudicator (piano) for the Bay State Contest as well as the an evaluator (piano) for the Music Achievement Evaluations. Have also served as a judge for the Student Composition Contest
