I have spent many years as a pharmacy technician in both the retail world and hospital world. I started in retail where I learned inventory management, insurance billing and prior authorization, gained valuable patient customer skills and deescalation skills. In the fast paced environment I gained time management and multi-tasking skills.Working in a hospital setting I continued to improve and grow these skills but also gained many new skills. Working closely with Microsoft office I have become highly efficient at data entry and inventory management using excel, word, and power points. I have helped with tracking trends, typing and emailing out meeting minutes, interviewing potential candidates, training and educating staff, project management and planning.
