I manage every aspect of our school leadership pipeline with the ultimate goal of increasing the number and quality of school leaders serving students in DFW. Specifically, I identify and recruit national and local alumni into partner principal preparation programs, match them into school leadership roles at partner networks and districts, and once they are in leadership roles, I support them with talent, professional development, and community building experiences.

I executed all of the grant writing and grant management processes for the college. Specifically, I conducted landscape analysis for funding opportunities, coordinated partnerships, wrote and secured private grants, organized internal document collection, and ensured adherence to grant compliance requirements. Simultaneously, I managed all special projects, events, and matters related to the president of the institution.

I led a self-contained, third-grade bilingual classroom alongside my students. As a classroom leader, I prepared and empowered my students to achieve impressive academic gains on district and state assessments by grounding our work in data analysis. Most importantly, I integrated daily activities that focused on developing the whole child with the intention of positioning them to begin thinking about the people they wanted to become and the impact they wanted to make in their communities and beyond.

At my core, I believe that all children, no matter who they are, what they look like, or where they come from, have the potential to thrive when they are given equitable access to opportunities. Therefore, I joined Teach For America to become part of a movement that works toward ending educational inequity.

As an intern to a campaign for a state-wide race, I was able to further my understanding on how political campaigns work. My work during this time included conducting research to inform campaign strategy and assisting in Hispanic voter-outreach efforts by translating materials, canvassing and phone-banking in Spanish.

I was selected as a Resident Assistant (RA) to establish and maintain a healthy, educational living environment for 34 residents and to uphold the rules and regulations of TCU. Specifically, I was charged with developing relationships, advising, and mentoring residents, implementing up to five dorm programs per semester (community, academic, and multicultural), and addressing resident crises and behavior.

My role was to provide a high-quality customer service experience to students and recreation center members.

I was selected to execute weekly tours and share the campus experience for groups of prospective TCU students and families. As a Student Foundation Member, I was also tasked with contacting donors every semester to thank them for their contributions and helped organize and host alumni events of up to 200 people in order to increase alumni engagement.
