I revamped the system previously in use to keep track of old hardware from tags taped onto backpacks (which housed computers and VR headsets) to an Excel sheet which was colour coded, and a log of the previously worked on hardware, along with the issues they had, and the tests they went through to be confirmed working again. My second responsibility in this role was to host parties for customers where I would introduce them to the upstairs activities, such as the Nintendo Switch which had Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Oculus Quest headsets with play areas. I would instruct them to stay inside their boundaries and the grids that appear on-screen when you reach the edges of the play area. I would also work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth transition from the upstairs play area to the main arena where the Zero Latency games are played with the group.Through my time in this role, I have learned a lot about teamwork, Virtual Reality, how to tackle tasks with enthusiasm and with a positive attitude. I got a chance to experience new things that I previously hadn't, such as VR. Show less
