• Design and develop various custom façade products; typically involved with the development of project specific concept designs and implementation throughout the manufacturing and installation phases.• Create shop, embed, erection, tag, and fabrication drawings for visually communicating with architects, general contractors, structural engineers, office & shop personnel, as well as field installers for numerous projects.• Produce bills of materials and optimization results for aluminum extrusions and glazing accessories for project specific customized designs of curtain walls, window walls, operable windows, glass canopies, rainscreen systems, and more.• Design and develop feasible and economical anchoring schemes for all applications of customized façade products.• Coordinate and collaborate with project managers to identify project requirements, including applicable codes, glass composition, framing systems, sealant applications, material finishes, suppliers, budgets, logistics, and schedules.• Revise and maintain project documentation upon assorted reviews by architects, consultants, and structural engineers; each review relating to aesthetic, performance, and constructability respectively.• Assist project managers with developing product data & drawing submittals, requesting formal quotations from suppliers, and writing purchase orders for material procurement as required.• Perform inter-office reviews of other’s work as it relates to size, quantity, & dimensional accuracy, as well as air/water performance, glass type/composition, and thermal improvements/considerations.

• Performed updates to and maintained the university’s BIS (Building Information Systems) drawings in CAD format for all buildings on campus as a result of renovation projects and new construction; the data was used for space management, planning, estimating, maintenance, and other miscellaneous purposes.• Organized and maintained original building documentation and physical architectural drawings within library.• Acquired dimensional information and verified building modifications as reported by the construction and engineering department faculty and staff.
