Completed a dissertation titled ‘HIV Disclosure Intervention Amongst Young People Living with Perinatally acquired HIV in Uganda and the UK: A Qualitative Analysis of Interviews from a Pilot Trial’ whereby I conducted a literature review, carried out inductive thematic analysis of 12 semi-structured qualitative interviews. • Conducted comprehensive assessments of 150+ patients, leveraging a range of channels including home visits, telephone consultations and GP hub sessions to identify complex needs and conditions of individuals over 65. • Achieved a high patient satisfaction rating by proactively coordinating care plans with healthcare professionals and community organizations to deliver social prescribing services tailored to individual needs.• Managed my own caseload, where I worked to support and anticipate the care needs of patients, established clear action plans and built a strong rapport with patients. Successful in providing solutions to patients complex needs such as providing referrals for dementia diagnoses, assisting in rehousing, increasing social care packages, referrals to social activities, organising medication reviews and addressing safeguarding issues.• Successfully advocated for patients needs during MDT and frailty meetings and addressed clinical concerns with geriatrician specialists. Actively engaged with local agencies, the voluntary sector services, local charities, social care workers, district nursing teams, health services, consultant geriatricians, pharmacists and GPs. • Responsibilities included social prescribing, patient advocacy, holistic care planning, cognitive assessments, health promotion, venepuncture, glucose testing, BP monitoring, sample analysis and mental health support. • Maintained accurate and organized patient records and related documents, ensuring timely reviews of care plans and frequent monitoring of the caseload using Excel and System 1 (NHS IT system).

Aided in the co-ordinated crisis management response to the Covid-19 pandemic in Ireland, assisting members of the public affected and providing relevant public health advice.• Assisted in the tracking and tracing of covid-19 outbreaks, particularly in high risk settings.• Communicated and liaised with management and clinical leads on site, reporting on individual cases and outbreaks where additional support was required• Conducted telephone interviews, collecting and recording information on patients’ close contacts, assessing symptoms, carrying out initial risk assessments and providing information on quarantine procedures. • Inputted data on the CRM system in an efficient and concise manner

• Research Assistant and Co-Author of ‘The challenges of recruitment to a randomised trial registry – what information matters to the patient?’, which was published in Trials, an open access journal. • Conducted an extensive literature review, applied for and received ethical approval and designed a questionnaire.• Approached patients at the Dialysis Unit at Cork University Hospital (CUH) and obtained informed consent. • Conducted semi-structured interviews and face to face questionnaires with patients to collect qualitative and quantitative data. Responsible for accurate storing and filling of study documents. • Research Assistant and Author of ‘Trial Managers: an undervalued resource in the clinical trial team?’ whereby I designed an online questionnaire, completed by 200+ Clinical Trial Managers in Ireland and the UK.• Efficient in setting up a database and analysing qualitative and quantitative data using SPSS, STATA and NVivo software.
