Hi, I’m Adeel Malik, a software engineer turned product manager with experience in developing, managing and taking multiple marketplace, SaaS & CRM software to market.I am a product specialist and a software engineer working as a Product Management Consultant. I left my full time job in 2021 to work full time on a technology startup, TenthWheel as a co-founder to revolutionize the logistics space in the Pakistani market. With an exceptional team of startup co-founders, veterans from juggernauts like Careem and institutes like INSEAD we quickly grew our platform to 6 figure ARR and operational breakeven with with a funding of less than USD 100,000. Our timing, along with the VC's looking for numbers over profitability back then made it hard to raise the targeted funding to further scale the app and we decided to slowly phase out while we could maintain our payrolls and adhere to contracts.Before this, I was working with Convo, a Silicon Valley based communications app company. The company had recently pivoted to PLG in growing markets like Pakistan and I was hired to get the job done. I'm proud of the role I played in building the product around the new target customers, with their unique requirements and constraints. My team at Convo was able to onboard multiple govt. organizations as well as utilized the product's feature set to introduce it as a social media platform to be used by the CEO's of Pakistan's finest organizations helping the product get 3x more trial signups at the top of the funnel. For this, I was awarded the Key Contributor of the Quarter during the first quarter I completed at the company. I strongly believe this performance along with my strong technical skills brought me the opportunity to co-found TenthWheel down the road.I believe technology products are just beginning to change the world in ALL walks of life.
