I partner with clients to forge a path through their most challenging moments. In my role at Taft, I tackle complex disputes—or head them off, wherever possible.Every client and case is unique, which means no two challenges are ever alike. As a litigator, that’s where I bring the most value to clients—by working together to find new ways to solve the puzzle in front of us. My practice spans industries and the disputes I handle take many forms, including business and contract disputes, M&A litigation, products liability claims, intellectual property disputes, and securities litigation. One of my favorite roles is partnering with other attorneys to serve as local counsel and a resource for litigating in Indiana. I also enjoy serving as outside general counsel helping clients identify the legal resources they need to move their businesses forward.In everything I do, my goal is to uplift other women in business and the community. In addition to serving as the partner chair of the Indianapolis Women of Taft affinity group, I serve on the board for Dress for Success Indianapolis, and have spent years supporting its signature fundraising event, Stepping Out in Style. I have also served as an ambassador of the American Cancer Society’s ResearcHERS: Women Fighting Cancer of Indiana campaign, and on the Leadership Committee of the Women Employed Advocacy Council in Chicago.In addition, I am active with the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy Committee, and I am a proud graduate of Class V of the Leadership Development Academy.I was particularly honored to be named a member of the Indianapolis Business Journal's Forty Under 40 class of 2021, alongside other young leaders making a difference in the Indianapolis business community. Before law school, I worked with in-house counsel to manage reputation risk and communication strategies stemming from large-scale litigation in my role at strategic communications firm APCO Worldwide in Washington, D.C. I was attending a trial in Atlantic City, of all places, when I realized I was far more interested in what was happening inside the courtroom than in writing the press release in front of me. My behind-the-scenes view into the complexities of litigation is ultimately what inspired me to pursue a J.D. Outside of the office, you can find me with a book in hand or out exploring beautiful Indiana with my husband Collin, our five-year-old son Finn, our three-year-old daughter Maeve, and our golden retriever, Lewis.
