- Developed bulk refund tool for Trust and Policy team allowing staff to issue refunds without requiring engineering support which saved time and expedited refunds for customers.- Addressed GDPR cookie compliance risk by developing a cross-framework cookie preferences user interface that reduced regulatory fines in the EU and prepared the platform for future regulation in other countries.- Deprecated legacy testing library FactoryGirl to reduce tech debt within legacy Ruby on Rails application.- Deprecated legacy code using static analysis techniques allowing removal of over 100k lines of code.

- Implemented measurement scripts to analyze the benefits of using quality-based metrics over topology-based metrics for Internet service provider (ISP) routing.- Developed a real-time quality and topology monitoring solution using Prometheus for metrics collection and storage and Grafana for live data visualization.- Collected latency, hop and traceroute measurements from over 10,000 destinations on the Internet resulting in findings that show that 40% of routes could benefit from using quality-based routing.- Configured packet steering using BGP-FlowSpec and DSCP flags within the research network (AS4697) allowing packets to be routed by the client based on quality metrics.- Published a technical paper in the IEICE CQ-2019-4 summarizing findings and contributed to patent filing (WO2021020525A1) utilizing research.

- Assisted QA team by implementing bug fixes for Angular/Ionic frontend application contributing to application stability.- Migrated retrieval of elevation data from WMS to use GeoTIFF within the browser from soon-to-be deprecated systems mitigating downtime and saving costs over commercial solutions.- Implemented development tools for quicker and more detailed debugging capabilities.
