Arturo M. Ongkeko Jr. is a nurse and health informatics specialist with a decade of experience as a University Research Associate at the National Telehealth Center, National Institutes of Health, University of the Philippines Manila. In this role, he has been instrumental in designing, managing, and implementing digital health interventions across various practice settings. Concurrently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pivotal Peak Digital Health Solutions, Inc., a digital health start-up.In 2017, Arturo co-founded and served as the inaugural Hub Manager of the Social Innovation in Health Initiative in the Philippines and has been co-leading it and its global secretariat of 13 university and research-based social innovation hubs since 2022.Arturo earned his Master of Science in Health Informatics from Rutgers University, USA, as a Fulbright-CHED scholar in 2019. He is also a recipient of the U.K. - Philippines Newton-Agham Grant as a Fellow of the Leadership in Innovation Fellowship Program in 2017. Additionally, he holds a Level 1 certification in Data Protection Officer Accountability, Compliance, and Ethics (DPO ACE), conferred by the National Privacy Commission.
