Joined Oracle through the DataFox acquisition. I was a Director Data Science and acted as a technical lead for engineers and data scientists within the Adaptive Intelligence team at Oracle working on the DataFox product.Projects included continued work on ML / NLP models and re-architecture of tech stack onto Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

DataFox uses machine learning to create intelligence on millions of companies around the world, enabling more data-driven decision-making by investors, sales people, and marketers. DataFox was acquired by Oracle in 2018.I had various roles and responsibilities from leadership to individual contribution. I focused especially on projects requiring ML and NLP expertise.

My research was focused on large scale Bayesian learning, mostly through scalable MCMC sampling techniques.I was a Teaching Assistant for multiple courses, involving office hours, teaching small sections, and developing and grading homework, projects and exams: - Autumn 2013: Stat 390 / Math 390 (Statistical Methods in Engineering and Science), a course on probability and statistics geared towards engineering majors during their Junior or Senior year - Winter 2014: Stat 534 (Statistical Computing), a course statistical computing for graduate students focusing on R and C++ - Spring 2014 and Spring 2015: Stat 548 / CSE 547 (Machine Learning for Big Data), a course for graduate students in CSE and Statistics focusing on algorithms to analyze large amounts of data
