Managed various aspects related to HR, Finance, Ops & Logistics across 3 business geographies during the engagement. Performed primary and secondary research for client leads and collaborations as well as ROI valuations.

• As a part of the first phase of the project – understood the Star business for the entire Ad Sales team and performed quantitative analysis of Star w.r.t. hierarchy, span of control, gender diversity and similar parameters and HR metrics. Conducted qualitative analysis of Star Ad sales Team on role, cluster and region specific similarities and differences across the 360+ strong Indian sales team • Performed competition mapping of media sales organization’s on job scope, levels and growth path. As a part of the exercise gathered organogram and structural strategy around organization design of 8 major competing sales orgs (2 each from Media – Zee TV, Viacom18 (Colors), Print – TOI, HT, Radio – Radio City 91.1 FM, Big FM 92.7 and Digital Space – Facebook & Google), and analyzed Value proposition to sales employees by competition viz a viz Star through primary and secondary research • As a part of the second phase of the project - conducted an extensive Time and Motion Study of the Star Ad sales organization for Sales Activity Assessment across roles, levels and regions so as to optimize Sales structure for efficiency and role right –sizing.Shadowed ad sales team for West region to understand the time spent by them on each of the 25 different sales related activities categorized under 7 major divisions (Pre-sales & planning, prospecting, pre-approach, actual selling, follow-ups, admin and misc.)• As a part of the time & motion study, interviewed (through shadowing and on-call interviews) approx. 20% of the entire 360+ strong Ad Sales Team of Star across all regions• Performed comparison and recommendation of structure to meet business objective keeping in mind sales careers, sales productivity, process stream-lining and ability to meet core business objective set for sales• Critically analyzed the new organization structure of Star viz a viz competition and listed out observations and recommendations which were implemented in subsequent restructuring

Worked in the Front office of the Derivatives and Collaterals arm of the bank in close collaboration with the front end traders in London office as a part of the critical project of transitioning derivative products from old to the new platform. Analyzed bank’s inflation swaps trade data (~35,000 trades) and identified trade flow patterns and associated volumes for faster & efficient client web interface.

Worked in the middle office of the Derivatives and Collaterals arm of the bank and conceptualized & devised multiple functionalities for successful on-boarding of new products resulting in faster trade settlements and reconciliations and increasing efficiency by 65% & slashing turnaround time by 50%.
