Litigator A. His practice includes defending TCPA class actions as well as defending other TCPA-related and similar complex civil litigation, insurance coverage matters, enforcement matters, and corporate lawsuits. Paul also advises individual and corporate clients on TCPA and other compliance issues, regulatory matters, and government investigations.In addition to his TCPA experience, Paul has experience defending individual and corporate clients in a wide range of industries and matters during all phases of litigation and trial. As with his TCPA matters, Paul handles from start to finish all major components of complex civil litigation involving residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS); mortgage foreclosures; the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and state law equivalent (e.g., California Rosenthal FDCPA) claims; Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) allegations; Electronic Fund Transfer Act matters; consumer protection litigation; alleged violations of state fraud and deceptive business practices statutes, including the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act; and unfair competition claims. He also has extensive experience in defending general commercial litigation matters involving business torts, breach of contract and fraud claims, as well as product liability, employment and insurance coverage litigation. His work includes pre-trial investigations and negotiations, settlements, discovery, dispositive and other motion practice, trials, and appeals.
