My mission is to help people to alleviate their suffering, improve their psychological and emotional health, and lead more meaningful and fulfilled lives. I work towards my mission in three primary ways. Psychotherapy. I am a psychotherapist in private practice. My work focuses on helping individuals with addictions to change their relationship with alcohol and drugs by reducing their desire and need to consume such substances in the first place. I have successfully worked with thousands of clients, and have often heard that my work has been life-changing. As one client remarked: “You have had the greatest positive impact on my life of any person I have ever known.” Speaking and Facilitation. I have delivered over 1000 presentations on topics relating to improving one’s psychological and emotional health, and have been a featured speaker at several national conferences. In addition, I have over 5000 hours of group facilitation experience. I have regularly received feedback that my presentation and groups are among the best participants have attended. As one organizational client stated: “One of the finest presentations we have ever heard by any speaker on any topic.” Content Creation. I have created thousands of pieces of educational content regarding psychological and emotional health in virtually every type of platform, including articles, blog posts, apps, videos, podcasts, seminars, workshops, and presentations. Because of my skill, several organizations have asked me to redesign their mental health curricula from scratch.
