It's On Us at UCSD- an organization dedicated to ending sexual violence on college campuses, will be hosting a production of "BACK THE NIGHT" by Melinda Lopez. This event emphasizes the assertion of college administrations perpetuating rape culture. Through this, the production will include a full-live performance of Lopez' piece, as well as an outreach/educational program afterwards. As director, my role consists of managing each sect of the production such as marketing, finance, stage managing, and more. It also consists of the artistic leadership needed to cultivate the story as a compelling and education piece; one that will allow audiences to empathize and take action.
