As a K-1 teacher at Phoenix Elementary School District, I work with a diverse group of general education and special needs students, providing them with high-quality instruction and support. I am passionate about anti-racist education and I strive to create an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all my students.I have also contributed to the professional development of other teachers, both as a K-3 content facilitator and a teacher mentor for Teach for America. In these roles, I coached first and second-year teachers on effective teaching strategies, curriculum design, and data analysis, helping them improve their classroom practice and student outcomes. I hold a Master of Education degree from Arizona State University, where I focused on elementary education and teaching. I also have a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration/management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
