At DTN I lead the Data Integration Team, which is focused on supporting the underlying data for DTN Connect, DTN Scout, DTN Sense, DTN Portal and iPad applications. These applications are utilized by SalesReps in agriculture retail to enhance their conversations with the farmers. My team is responsible for data integration with multiple accounting packages, customer reporting and detailed analytics. I encourage team growth and responsibilities including the continuous documentation of solutions to production issues. Our team was responsible for the initial design and building of the CSR dashboard, standard reports and underlying data architecture. o Worked directly with key stakeholders to help design and create the Xcelsius dashboard prototype utilized for project approval.o Performed analysis of over 570 objects in an existing BudNET Business Objects universe and over 20 reports that were utilized as base functionality for the new universes and report functionality.o Performed a proof-of-concept of a Business Objects integration toolkit with Microsoft SharePoint to validate if it would be beneficial for our CSR project.o Worked directly with the Data Architect on the design of the tables and how they would impact the Business Objects Universe and user reports.o Designed, tested and updated two Business Objects universes, Market Share and Volume, both universes contain over 150 objects each.o Reviewed both new Business Objects universes with our project sponsor and subject matter experts and updated the universes with their recommendations.
