As an intern at the East Providence Police Department I had many duties. I would rotate throughout various divisions of the police department with different tasks in each. When I worked in the Prosecution Division I would be responsible for cataloging tickets, creating felony packets, putting in dispositions into IMC, getting dialog for interrogations and interviews, placing paperwork from the AG in to the appropriate files, doing research on city ordinances and RI General Laws that pertained to tickets and other violations, and going to court and observing the prosecuting officer. When I was in Planning and Training Division I was responsible for research on creating an alternate uniform, researching and getting quotes for new equipment, updating officers files with new training certifications, creating visuals for officers and community outreach, and helping develop policies for the police department that aided in the accreditation process.

As a Head Counselor I was in charge of a group of campers, I would be responsible for children safety and well being, as well as discipline of children. I was also responsible for holding medication for children who needed it during the day. I would lead the group through our daily activities and be responsible for making sure we are on schedule.
