With over 14 years of marketing experience, I am a luxury & hospitality industry thought leader. Throughout my career, I have been at the forefront of shaping the brand's identity by leveraging its audience, creative optimization, and solutions to help it exceed its business objectives and goals. I was formerly the Head of Marketing for Fifth Avenue Association (FAA). I was responsible for developing the brand's creative and digital identity and strategizing retailer, hotel, and restaurant relationships within the district. When I joined FAA, I built a marketing team, grew FAA's IG presence, and curated seasonal tentpole events, which correlated with significant shopping days. These tentpole events, Fifth Avenue Blooms, Holidays On Fifth, and NYFW on Fifth, have become legacy projects. These events resulted in increased foot traffic to the Avenue, and FAA won 2 awards- WindowsWear Best Neighborhood Installation and the PACE Judges award.Before my role at FAA, I led the marketing team at Luna Park in Coney Island. I managed a 20 million marketing budget, a 5-12 personnel group, and 20% of my work, including media buying- OOH, Radio, Digital, and TV. I strategized with our international creative agency to develop seasonal campaigns placed on billboards and a production agency to execute a compelling TV commercial. I created copy for radio ads in English and Spanish. I collaborated with the Operations team to transform the retail shop into a Coney Island branded experience, which increased traffic and sales by 20%. I also worked with the Finance team to redesign the park's website, adding dynamic pricing and mobile accessibility to introduce online ticket sales. I received a 2015 IAAPA award on behalf of Luna APrk for Best TV commercial. Beyond my corporate role, I am recognized as a thought leader, mentor, and advocate for leadership development and management. I am also a Board Director at Creative Art Works. My work as a board member demonstrates my commitment to the youth and culture. I have spoken at events like the Commercial Observer and featured in Vanity Fair, ABC 7, Galerie Magazine, Gotham Magazine, Air Mail, Black Enterprise, and more.I hold a BA from Hampton University and an MBA in Media Management from Metropolitan College of NY.
