Freelance wine writer who contributed columns to The Seattle Times' Pacific Northwest magazine and feature and news stories to the newspaper. Also led wine tasting seminars.

As Interactive Media director, I oversaw the Tri-City Herald's websites, social media activities and anything else related to online initiatives. Additionally, I worked on the city desk, editing local copy on a nightly basis. And I oversaw the Tri-City Herald copy desk and newsroom librarian duties.

I have worked at the Tri-City Herald as a journalist since 1989. I have served in most newsroom capacities, including as a copy editor, Sunday editor, weekend editor, news editor, assistant managing editor and Interactive Media director.I also co-author a weekly newspaper column that appears in the Tri-City Herald and more than a dozen other regional.

As assistant managing editor, I ran the copy desk at the Tri-City Herald.
