Very experienced Technical Project Manager experienced both in the large corporate and also small / medium size companies and able to operate effectively within all environments.Experience in creating teams and implementing projects in mobile, android, IOT, wearables, RF & wireless connectivity, embedded systems, machine learning and web interfaces, analogue advanced node CMOS design. Most recently have moved very successfully from a large corporate environment to a start-up, where I have led the small multidisciplinary team and also contributed individually by designing the GPS system, and contributing code to an android app and writing an embedded C system.Prior to this I had ten years’ experience as an Engineering Program Manager/ Director in a global role with a proven track record of delivering business significant programs. Leading a multi-discipline and multi-national team of around 50 engineers to deliver a portfolio of solutions into multiple end products, with a budget of 6M GBP per year including sub-contracting. Team lead responsibilities include software development and software release and test teams, mechanical, optical and electronic hardware teams. Responsibility for developing and directing the resource to ensure best practice design methodology and design for manufacturing processes.Responsible for delivering approximately 200 Million systems / year with a value of >400MUSD. Extensive international business and supplier management experience, including 3 years spent in Japan, and supplier audits in Japan, China, Korea and Singapore.
