I embarked my cadetship at RCC in the Contract Administration rotation on the Innovation Quarter Westmead project for Charter Hall & Western Sydney University. With the guidance of the commerical team, I learnt and was responsible for processing invoices, tendering, assessing progress claims and submitting payment schedules.As the project's Digital Design Coordinator I managed the BIM federation and clash detection process through collaboration with the architect, service engineers and consultants. In this role, I learnt the importance of clear communication and transparency as an integral part of time and stakeholder management.

At Evalesco, I shadowed and helped the site manager from concept to handover. By actively asking the site manager questions, observing and listening I learned the fundamentals of residential unit building fast. As a result, I was trusted to apply this knowledge and work independently to perform specific functions for projects such as calling suppliers for materials, undertaking minor renovation work and coordinating some trades on-site. My experience has allowed me to exercise independent problem solving, develop client/stakeholder management, and broaden my understanding of site coordination.

During my tenure at BTS, I worked on demolition in a live school environment. This gave me the appreciation for working in a very professional manner whilst exercising high safety precautions.

I had the privilege to work with industry-leading organisation Sofitel, where my duty as a F&B attendant was to ensure smooth service and running of the buffet. As our guests ranged from tourists to high profile figures, I learnt how to deal with a diversity of client requests and delivering to each individual's expectations. My training at Sofitel has taught me to implement a proactive approach towards both customer and team member engagement which has seen an increase of the restaurant's Net Promoter Score (guest satisfaction survey) from 75 to 84.

With O Bar and Dining, I was part of the bar and wait staff. Being an integral role in the ‘front-of-house’ operations, I engaged directly with our patrons to satisfy their requests whilst ensuring the utmost quality of service. Through this, I have developed my confidence in communication and refined service skills.
