Responsible for the training, mentoring and development of all Home Energy Advisors (HEAs) across the North of England, Wales and Scotland. The advisors are both employed directly and indirectly so the role requires liaising with partner organisations and delivering relevant training.Responsible for quality assurance on all home visits and telephone advice calls that HEAs complete making sure that all customer interactions are delivered to a high standard and getting good customer service.

In 2021, I took over managing the Energyworks team. This includes day to day team management as well as project management of a large number of externally and internally funded projects. I work closely with these partners to provide project updates and reports. I regularly attend events, presentations and meetings to speak to a wide range of people from community centers, independent agencies, local authorities etc. to promote the work that the team does and work to secure additional funding for us to continue the work that we do.

Part of a small team that delivers energy saving advice and support around the vulnerable communities of Greater Manchester. This includes home visits, presentations to the public and funders as well as collaboration with Local Authorities and Housing Associations to engage in events and activities.I have managed a number of projects of varying size and scope and have been responsible for the nature of data collection, report writing and delivery of feedback to funders and senior management. I have also written a number of funding bids totaling a value of over £20,000 in an attempt to secure new cash streams for the charity.Last year we saved the residents of Manchester over £2,000,000 through the fitting of free energy saving measures, energy saving advice and switching energy suppliers.

Started in 2014 as a Cashier in Preston and have steadily worked my way up to grilling and kitchen work, training new and existing staff and helping manage and run shifts.In 2018, I moved to Manchester and started as a Trainer at the Salford Quays branch, through hard work and dedication was given more responsibility as Section Leader and then as a Training Coordinator, helping to look after all the trainers as well as trainees and new procedures.During my time at Nando's I have run a utilities project and helped reduce the amount of energy and other utilities are being used at my restaurant and have worked to increase the staff's knowledge on issues surrounding energy use as well as other environmental issues such as waste and recycling.
