Nimbus Strategies builds advocacy and issue campaign strategies that engage, empower, and mobilize supporters via online channels, and the internal team structures to support that work. Our work is comprehensive and addresses the challenges of reaching and mobilizing global audiences, and internal team capacity building, training, and coordination. We are based in Houston Texas, work nationally and internationally serving our clients to build sustainable strategies to promote progress on issues of climate, democracy, and equity.

As Director I managed the complete CRM migration of 100k supporters and their history from multiple platforms to a unified CRM tool, and established the structure for the new advocacy system. I built a team of 3 specialists across digital advocacy disciplines including SMS, Email, Social Media, digital community organizing, growing cross platform support to nearly a quarter million supporters. Collectively, supporter calls to action resulted in paid leave victories for over 9 million working people in the US.

As Principal of the Washington DC office of EchoDitto I split my time between business development and developing campaign and organizational strategy. This work provided me with the opportunity to see and participate in the inner workings of organizations across the spectrum of the for- and non-profit world. My long history in the non-profit sector provided me a unique insight into the challenges institutions face in creating an effective theory of change. With a philosophy of engagement at the core of our work, we created success in the strategic campaigns we developed for our diverse portfolio of clients.

I provide netroots and social media strategy for our programs who focus on our strategic priorities. This includes managing social media campaigns, monitoring and engaging social media audience engagement, and elevating the voice of self identified issue activists.
